This Nike Air Force 1 PLT.AF.ORM benefits from strong colour-blocking that lends it a certain level of sophistication. It is largely a two-tone design, with Sail filling out the raised midsole and outsole along with an upper that consists of durable leather panels in a dapper Mars Stone. The flanks each contain a swoosh in this same colour, while the smoothness of the leather is interspersed with various lines of stitching, some doubled up, some single and others zigzag in design. A more prominent variation comes through the lateral midfoot in the form of a cutout section in a warm tone of Burgundy Crush that sits just behind the swoosh. This colour reappears on the sneaker’s branding elements in the heel, eyestay and the woven tongue, as well as more subtly through the stitching around the edge of the medial swoosh. The shiny Mars Stone lace dubrae is decorated with an outline which surrounds a small Nike swoosh in silver to complete this suave shoe.
