The greyscale colour scheme of this Nike Attack x Cactus Jack collaborative sneaker harks back to the original 1984 colourway, giving this design a heritage look. Meanwhile, rapper Travis Scott has brought his own rebellious style to the shoe, filling it with signature branding and flashy details. A Light Smoke Grey outsole made of durable rubber acts as the foundation, its distinctive grip formations made up of alternating squares and circles, with dashes in the heel, a circular pad below the forefoot and Nike text embossed below the arch. Star-shaped nodes encircle the entire structure, lending the edges a compelling texture, before the white rubber midsole delivers comfort through its foam filling. A groove set with white stitching runs around the top of the midsole, stopping just before the forefoot to leave the toe clear.

The upper continues the sophisticated look of the sole unit via its Light Smoke Grey mesh underlayer and its leather overlays in the same tone. The former textile can be seen on the flanks, where it works its way through the midfoot towards the heel, while the latter shows up across the front half of the shoe and around the heel. Sections of the forefoot overlay have been cut away to reveal black mesh just below and to the sides of the Light Smoke Grey eyestay, and five additional ventilation holes have been added down its lateral flank. All of this makes for a highly breathable sneaker whose black and grey tonal variations forge a bold aesthetic.

Deep black accents stand out around the back of the foot, with one small overlay at the bottom of the heel and another reinforcing the edge of the low-cut collar. Nike lettering has been printed onto this last feature in Light Smoke Grey text, and just below it, the Cactus Jack cross logo has been embroidered into the heel overlay. More fine needlework occurs on the edges of the overlays through both single and dual bands of thread, creating a finely crafted appearance.

The interior is coated in Light Smoke Grey material with a velvety finish that lies softly against the foot. Over the top of the shoe is a white tongue with a Light Smoke Grey trim and an eye-catching patch that delivers a splash of vibrant colour to the sneaker. Its vintage blue and black checkerboard patterning is reminiscent of that seen on the 1984 version, as is the bright red Nike branding woven through it. The same graphic reappears on the box that this Nike Attack is presented in, for a cohesive overall experience. Back on the shoe, in a powerful finishing touch, Scott has given the model his most recognisable trademark design feature – the reverse lateral swoosh. In contrast to the one on the medial flank, which emerges from the heel overlay to rest upon the midfoot mesh, this logo is proudly displayed fully over the top of the outer, its tail end starting on the forefoot panel before spreading out across the mesh of the midfoot to land boldly atop the heel counter.
